A 3.5 Mile trail stretches from
the historic Almota Creek, through Boyer Park, and on to the base
of Lower Granite Dam.

Only two miles from the park, treat yourself to hours of gazing at the
hundreds of fish gliding up the fish ladder or watch them in the
fish viewing room. You may also enjoy a stroll through the many 3-D
exhibits in the multi-room building. . |
Boating
Our boat launch provides for boats of all sizes. The river is great for
skiing, swimming, rafts, and Jet ski's. Taking a boat trip
through the Locks of Lower Granite Dam would provide you with a
unique view of our area, both above and below the dam. The Dunes on
the other side of the river are accessible by boat and provide for
lots of sun and fun. Cruise ships pass weekly on their trek between
Portland and Lewiston, Idaho. |
Hunting and
Fishing
Hunting season includes seasons for deer, quail, chucker, and water fowl,
among others. Fish types include the popular area Steelhead,
Bass, Channel Catfish and the mighty Sturgeon. Licenses are for sale
in our convenience store. Please call for licensing information.

Swimming
Our protected swimming area is great for the young and old and provides a
wide beach and ample picnic area where you can spend the whole day
together. |
